Motor Activity Training Program

San Benito CISD hosted the 10th Annual Motor Activity Training Program (MATP) at San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy gymnasium. The MATP event, coordinated by Rick Tamez of the San Benito CISD Department of Special Education Department, is designed for persons with severe limitations who do not yet possess the developmental skills necessary to participate in official Special Olympics sports. MATP strives to develop a young participant’s motor skills. The program also provides the means for students with severe limitations with an opportunity to participate.
