Santos Vallejo, a Class of 2007 graduate from San Benito High School, visited with Fred Booth Elementary students. Despite life’s challenges and difficult trials, Vallejo has accomplished so much since graduation. Not only has he written and illustrated his very first book, “Little Santos the Firefighter,” which is based on his own life experiences, he also works as a firefighter with the City of Pharr and at a local retail store. Vallejo persevered and accomplished his goals, serving as an inspiration to others, including his very own co-workers and supervisors.
