Fire Prevention Week this year will be from October 10 – 14, 2016. The theme for this year is:
“Don’t Wait – Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years”
The Fire Prevention Poster Contest will be from October 10, 2016 through November 12, 2016. In house judging will be done by each individual school. After your in-house judging, please submit the best 3 posters from each grade level in Regular Education and in Special Education.
Deadline to turn in the posters will be Friday, November 18, 2016, by 5:00 p.m. The posters may be turned in at Fire Station # 1, 1201 S. Sam Houston, or if you are unable to drop off the posters please call 956-361-3804 Ext. 241 and someone will go by to pick them up.
The awards presentation will be announced at a later date.
