The Dr. Raul Garza, Jr. Elementary Chess Team competed in the Super National Competition in Nashville Tennessee May 12 – 14, 2017 and being ranked 30th in the Nation. This team has earned their spot to attend the National Competition for the 5th time in a row by placing first among district teams in the Regional Competition and thus being first in the district. A HUGE thank you to our parents, team sponsors, and Coach for always supporting our children.
