MJMS students earn awards with artwork

Miller Jordan Middle School art students, instructed by teachers Carla Ambriz and Rellenny Munguia, earned awards for their artwork after competing at the Sixth Annual Texas Independence Day Celebration Art Show at the Cameron County Youth Livestock Show Grounds in San Benito.

“The students at Miller Jordan Middle School have been working on their drawings since December,” said art teacher Carla Ambriz. “The drawings were completed the last week of February. We are very proud of our art students!”

Marliyn Cardoza, 5^th place

8^th grade winners include:
Isaiah Mendoza, 1^st place & sweepstakes
Joseph Muñoz, 2^nd place
